Rylee started Preschool today at EV Free Fullerton. It's just 2 days a week, 4 hours a day -- but my heart still felt the sting of Rylee growing up all too quickly. I did wonderful as Darrin and I dropped her off. We smiled, we took pictures, we introduced her to Miss Gigi (her teacher) and we kissed her goodbye as she ran off to play with a kitchen set she spotted. She couldn't have cared less that we were going.....but mama could hardly hold back the tears. As we got into the car, I felt my eyes mist up and then the tears just started to flow. Darrin sat there with a "oh my goodness, you're such a girl" smirk on his face but loving held my hand and comforted me as I took a minute to accept this new reality. He prayed for us, and for her and ask the Lord to bless this new chapter in our lives.
And now I'm here at home -- sitting at the table with a hot cocoa, Jake is sleeping and I have a quiet house. Maybe this preschool thing won't be too bad! ;)
Here's some fun photos that we took!

Yesterday we took her to get a new haircut! Hair was a big issue every morning. But now with bangs and a cute little bob, I don't have to fight her in the mornings and she doesn't have to worry about her hair always getting in her eyes!
Rylee picked out her own lunchpail! Trying to check out what mama packed her for lunch!
I'm sure that was really difficult for you, but it's awesome that Rylee just ran off and started playing! Hopefully you will be refreshed by your time apart and your time together will only be that much more special now.
