An update on the kids

The kids are doing so great! Rylee is learning new things everyday and it's so much fun to watch her grow. This is a tough time as far as behavior and disciplining can go - but it's SUCH a fun age as far as exploring and learning goes. One thing we've been working on is phrases. We're working on two-word phases like "yes mama" "please daddy" "more crackers" and so forth. Tonght, she said a couple of three word phrases. "More cheese please" and "All done daddy". I know to most this isn't a big deal - but to us, it's HUGE. It's so much fun to see her learning! Rylee is also starting to count. Here's a little video of her the other day. Normally she says "One....twoooo....tree.....nine....five....sick-y.....nine...." lol Nine is her favorite number right now. Funny that for the longest time her favorite word was "No" and now her favorite number is "Nine" which incidentally means "no" in German. Coincidence? I think not.

Here she's saying "One...two...free...nine...free"

Jake is doing great too. He's SUCH a little love. I can't get over his cute smile. In the beginning of March, he rolled over from his tummy to his back. He only rolled a handful of times and just really didn't seem to like that very much. Then last week (end of March) he rolled from his back to his tummy. Ever since then - he's been such a little roley poley. I've been trying to get a video of it, but every time I turn on the camera he gets so indulged in the camera and never will roll over for me. So tonight, I was able to record it by pretending I wasn't watching him. He didn't know what I was doing. I know....I'm so sneaky. Check it out:

This is such a funny video of Rylee. It's from February, so it's a couple months late. DArrin's bouncing the ball off of her head. She's cracking up. I could listen to that laugh all day long!
