What a fun age!

We've had several Jake posts recently, so here's a little bit of a Rylee update.
I know that I'm probably cursing myself when I say this, but....I'm LOVING age 2!!! Rylee has such a fun imagination and she learns new things everyday. I know, for experienced moms, every child does this at this age -- but it comes as such a surprise and joy to this first-timer mom. Darrin and I are always so impressed with what we're hearing come out of Rylee and her adorable little, ever-growing mind. The other day, she had a bunch of her little animals lined up on the toy box and she was totally acting out a story. The diasour was taking refuge in Ms. Teapot, the catapillar on wheels said "Oh no!! I [in] trouble!" as the Monkey responded "I help you!!!" :) :) It was so incredibly cute. We just couldn't get over it.

We're also working on academic-type things like the alphabet and numbers and shapes all that jazz. She's trying to memorize her letters and is pretty good until about J...then just she continues to sing the song but says gibberish instead of actual letters. It's kind of funny.
