Saturday afternoon we went with Brenda and my parents to the Pumpkin Patch. This has become a yearly tradition. It's so much fun! Rylee went on the bounce house, took a horse ride and went in the petting zoo with Jake and Grandmama. There were turtles, bunnies, chickens, pigs, goats and a donkey named Jill. :) The kids had a blast with Grandmama, Mimi and Papa!
Sunday, Darrin left early to go to John and Cindy's church (Christ Community) to help set up their Harvest Festival. Brenda came by in the afternoon and took Rylee to the Family Fun Fest at our church (Yorba Linda Friends). They had a great time, just the two of them, and from what I hear -- Rylee danced up a storm!! :) After they got back, I took both kids over to Christ Community where we met up with a whole slew of family! Rylee had a blast playing at the booths and bouncing in the bounce house. There was even a big slide Rylee went down all by herself! Jake had fun being passed around and held for quite a long time! :) Rylee's favorite booth was the Finding Nemo booth (find the fish in a bucket full of plastic balls)....which ultimately was her demise. At the end of the night she had a MAJOR meltdown which forced us to leave so she could get to bed. A long day, no nap, and WAY Too much sugar just put her over the edge! Eh....such is life with kids, huh? Overall, it was an awesome holiday filled with lots of family and fun. Now...onto to Thanksgiving!! :)
Here's a short video of Rylee going down the big slide! And since there were way too many photos to post - I created a slideshow of it all. Enjoy!
