Kiddo Update

The kids are growing a lot! Rylee is 2 and half now and just so much fun. Her imagintion has taken off and entertains herself (and us) constantly. She has started singing ...everything. She sings songs from school or she'll just sing her words. It's so funny. She has even started using inflections in her voice when answering questions. As far as preschool goes, she's just loving it. Her teacher, Miss Allie, is great. Rylee comes home singing new kinds of songs, and putting sentances together better and doing cute "school" things like raising her hand. :) It's great. At night, we read Bible stories and lately her favorite ones have been Daniel and the Lions Den, Blind Bartimaeus and Moses when God gave the people Manna. It's kind of funny. She asks for those by name. The other night, she even told ME the story of Daniel and the Lions Den. It was adorable. I feel so blessed that she's starting early learning stories from the Bible. I pray that she has a passion for Christ and His Word all her life.

Jake is growing like a little weed. He's 14 months now and is into everything. I LOVE IT! Ha ha ha. He's so adorable. He's starting to talk more and more. In addition to Mama, Dada, uh-oh, yes and no-- he now has started to say Papa, Grandma, ball and more. (I feel like there's more to add to the list, but I can't really remember right now). It's so cute to hear him call one of the grandparents by "name". We're still working on baby sign language and it's going pretty well. When he's done with his food after his meal -- he'll give us his plate and hold his hands up to say "all done". SO CUTE! Hopefully, I'll get a video of it soon! (NOTE - there's still lots of dropping food and saying "uh-oh" with a smile, going on. But we're working on it! Little by little!)

I love to be able to say that the kids really love each other. They want to be by each other almost nonstop. When Jake wakes up - Rylee runs to greet him. They'll tackle each other and tickle each other. In the morning, they'll snuggle up on the couch together, drinking some milk and watch cartoons. We just love these kiddos SO much!
