And then we heard of Knott's Berry Farm's GREAT annual pass deal. We could get a season pass ...with no blackout dates that would be good until the end of the year for $60 per pass. YIPPEE!
So today, we went and bought the passes. I'm SO very excited. "Camp Snoopy" is perfect for the kids with fun rides that are the right size for them, a bounce house that Rylee is going to go CRAZY for, a fun little "Snoopy Outdoor Theatre" and a super-awesome "huff 'n' puff" ride that Darrin and I both remember riding when we were little. :) There were practically NO lines a all. It took us less than 15 minutes to get from my parents drive way to the park and actually PARKED in the parking lot...which is super close to that actual park. Oh, and parking is free for the first 3 hours. We could have bought a parking pass, but I doubt we'll be there for longer than 3 hours with the kiddos. One of the best parts...my parents also bought a pass (and Cindy is considering getting one as well)!!!! So they can either go with us or just pick up Rylee and take her to the park for a couple hours. So much fun!! Man, it just keeps getting better and better! :)Today, my mom is on spring break, so she came with us to get passes and play in the park. Rylee and her had so much fun together!! This ride was a car ride that went in a circle but whipped the cars around the corners. Rylee couldn't stop giggling! It was so cute to watch Mimi and Rylee laughing together for those couple of minutes! :)
And this is the kid's very first ride together...all by themselves. They don't look too enthused at the moment....don't be fooled, they loved it (well Rylee loved it....Jake wasn't too sure). But this was taken while they were still waiting. I was so nervous to let them ride all alone but everyone was fine and no one tried to unbuckle themselves and get out! :)I think it was a little much for Jake because he didn't look too happy during the ride, but Rylee was SUCH a sweet big sister and put her arm over his shoulder to calm him down. Melt.My.Heart. It was so sweet.

I'm SO excited about these passes. Although there's nothing like the good ol' Magic Kingdom, I think that this western fun-land will be just perfect for our little family. Oh and by the way, did you know that they put in a Pink's Hot Dogs right outside the park? SO AWESOME!! Anywho -the $60 season pass deal is good until Sunday, May 1st. You can purchase it online if you want to get in on it but can't get to the park within the next couple days. And let us know if you do get one - we can plan a play date!!
