For Rylee's 3rd birthday, we wanted to get her a "big girl bed". She already has a convertible crib that turns into a toddler bed and then into a Full bed, but she's outgrown the toddler portion and we still aren't ready to move her to a full bed (maybe in ...like...10 years) :) So, like always, I wanted to save money and not spend a lot on her bed. Enter Craigslist. After weeks of looking at beds on craigslist, I finally found this one. It was brand new (tags still on) and only $100! woohoo! While Daddy put the bed together, Rylee and I went to Target and picked out a comforter and sheets. She picked out this hot pink quilt! I loved it AND it was on sale for over half the original price. Pink, cute, and on sale? ahhhhRylee, you're a girl after you're mama's heart. :) She loved crawling in bed tonight and I enjoyed lying down on this bed to read her a bedtime story much more than cramping into her little toddler bed! So, here's another milestone in our little lady's life..... a big girl bed. Soon she'll be going to the prom. ugh. :)
MORNING UPDATE! -- Rylee slept wonderfully last night! She hardly moved at all (which is very abnormal for her) and she slept in until about 8ish (she's been getting up 7-7:15am lately). So wooohoo!!! She even went to school today and told her teacher about her new big bed!! :) Success!
Awesome all around, Jenn! The bed is adorable, as is the quilt. She looks so happy! And yay for sleeping in...even without a cow!
