Pacifier Success!!

Rylee and Jake both took to the pacifier right away. It's so nice to have that little comforter on hand that you can just pop back in their mouth when needed.   However, Brooke has been a different story.   She never liked the pacifier.  I tried and tried to no avail.  I had just about given up and chalked her up to being one of those kids who never take to the paci.  But then I noticed my friend's son who had a rather cute little toy attached his Soothie pacifier.  I asked her about it and when I was at Babies R Us later that night, decided to give it one last go.

Enter the WubbaNub:

He's cute, right?  Red Dog (who is both USC and USMC's colors...might I add) is super soft and his feet are lightly weighted so that when the pacifier gets spit of the mouth, it stays laying on the chest instead of falling and rolling off.  It also helps keeps the pacifier in since the baby has something to hold onto.  Brooke has totally taken to the pacifier now and this family could not be happier!! Thank you Johanna and Thank you WubbaNub!

Here's Brookie-poo with her Red Dog.  Although, this time she opted for munching on the good ol' hand instead of the paci.  But that's okay, Red Dog won't get lost. See, the paci lays right there on her chest! :) Success!
