New Table!!!!

Ever since we've moved into our little house I've wanted a new dining room table. Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE (love love love) our current round one and it's served us VERY well for the past 5 years... but it just really doesn't fit the space well. We never really wanted to spend the money to get a new one and always put it off, opting to save our money instead. But recently, my nesting phase with this pregnancy has kicked in and I've wanted a new table more than ever. We looked a little but never found exactly what we wanted.....until now. :) We (read: Darrin...who is the sweetest person for giving in, especially when I wasn't expecting it!) finally decided to splurge a bit and buy a BRAND NEW (not a Craigslist, not a hand me down) dining room table. We bought it at (of all places) Linder's Furniture. It came with 6 chairs, a bench seat (something I REALLY wanted with the kids) and an 18" leaf. It's gorgeous and now I need to get a protecting pad and tablecloth for it so it stays nice (as well as an area rug to go underneath it so the carpet stays somewhat clean as well). We do have 2 (almost 3) kids! Nice things don't stay nice for very long in this house!!

And here's the new one! This has the leaf in it but isn't showing the 2 extra chairs. But they fit too! We can actually squeeze EIGHT people around it! Amazing! :)
