Bedtime is one of my favorite times of the day. I love our little bedtime routine -- bath, jammies, something to drink on the couch, teeth brushed and then everyone climbs in Rylee's bed to read a story (or two....or three), finished off with everyone saying what they're thankful for that day and then nighttime prayers thanking God for those exact things. Then I turn their radio and fishy night-light on, main light off, put Jake in his crib and crawl in bed with Rylee to rub her back for a minute and sing songs with them. aww such a special time and such great memories from this little night routine. But what's even better is when Daddy gets to join in on the fun. He's not always here for bedtime and it's so special when he gets to join us! I love that all of us sit on the bed....even the dogs get in on the cuddle action! :)Tonight the kids loved squeezing in between Daddy's arms while listening (and reciting) the stories. They love that man and boy, does he love those kids. These are the moments that really matter and the sweet moments we'll all remember.
