We kicked off the Christmas season by going to a friend's ranch up north (just before the Grapevine). They have 350 acres of God's gorgeous land. The kids LOVED running around in the wilderness, playing with rocks and dirt, riding on the ATVs and playing on the super old playground! :) The best part was we were able to cut down our own Christmas tree!! The kids picked out a little 6 footer that fit perfectly in our home!

Christmas Blvd at EV Free Fullerton: What a fantastic little event full of Christmas cheer! :) They had a Santa's Village, choir performances, gourmet Food Trucks, Sledding!, a rock climbing wall, a S'mores Station where you could roast your own s'mores over firepits all surrounded by a bunch of Christmas trees, an entire "Toddler Area" (inside!) that had cartoon Christmas movies playing, face painting, a ball pit, balloon animals, a card station where you could decorate a Christmas card for Service members, a Lego-building area and even a "puppy pen" where kids could go in to sit down and pet adorable little puppies. They even had SNOW falling over Santa's Village. We had THE BEST time. We ended up going 2 nights so that all the grandparents could join in on the fun. What a blast !
Next up was Rylee's preschool program at school! She was adorable! Her class sang Jesus Loves Me (with sign language) and a new song called "Christmas Bells". They were so cute. We didn't get the best photos because of the lighting but here's a couple we did get. The only bummer is that they started WAY late, so not all the grandparents were able to get a photo of our little stage star afterwards. We did get a great one with John and Cindy, though! Check out Rylee's super sweet red jacket! She calls it her "Beauty and the Beast" coat. :)

Last in the 'Christmas activities before actual Christmas' line up was the annual family Christmas party -- complete with Santa!! The kids loved sitting on his lap and opening their present. Neither kid even cried -- which was a big surprise to me! :)

Well that was about it up until actual Christmas weekend. Once I get more photos from Christmas Eve and Christmas -- I'll post more photos. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend celebrating our Lord's miraculous birth! Happy New Year to you all!
