Sharing God's Love

The other morning our doorbell rang and I opened it up to find a little girl standing on our porch with a pot of flowers. She was from the Lutheran School behind our house and she, as well as her friends and an adult, were going around to all of the neighbors that surround the school - giving them flowers and a thank you note. It was SO sweet! The homemade card reads

FRONT OF CARD: Thank *U* 4 B-in a Gr8 Neighbor

INSIDE:
Dear Neighbor

Thank you for being such a good neighbor. You have to put up with kids at recess and sometimes loud kids in their classrooms. Not many people would do that. You are very cool. Thanks a bunch.

God's blessings,
Andrew 6th Grade
Christ Lutheran School

It's such a small act of kindness but shows God's love in such a big way! I'm glad that the school is teaching the children that small acts of kindness can have a big impact. And just for the record, we cannot hear the kids when they're in their classroom and we actually really enjoy watching and listening to everyone while at recess. There's just nothing like children's laughter.
We even open up our windows just so we can hear everoyne playing! :)
